Calibration due-date calendar
List your instruments with the date each was last calibrated and its calibration interval. You get every due date in order, and a calendar file (.ics) with a reminder before each one for Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. It all runs in your browser.

Due dates
Enter at least one instrument with a date and an interval.
One all-day event per instrument. Open the file, or import it into Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.
How the due date is worked out
Due date = last calibration date + interval. Months are calendar months, so 12 months from 15 April is 15 April the next year. When that day does not exist, the last day of the month is used: one month from 31 January is 28 February, or 29 February in a leap year.
Keeping calibration records somewhere else?
Send us what you have, in any format, and we load it into Axiospec for you. We keep your instrument IDs and intervals. It usually takes a couple of business days, and it's free on every plan.
Rather than importing a new calendar after every calibration: Axiospec works out each due date from the calibration record and sends reminders before anything slips.
Common questions
-
How do I get the due dates into Outlook or Google Calendar?
Download the .ics file and open it, or use your calendar's import option. Outlook, Google Calendar and Apple Calendar all read .ics files. In Google Calendar, import it from Settings, under Import & export.
-
Does the calendar update itself after a calibration?
No. The file is a snapshot of the dates you entered. After a calibration, change the date here and import a new file. Keep each instrument's name the same. The file uses the name to match each event to the one you imported before. Calibration software can keep the dates current for you instead.
-
Is my instrument list uploaded anywhere?
No. The due dates and the calendar file are made in your browser, and nothing is sent to Axiospec.
-
How long should each calibration interval be?
Start from the maker's recommendation, then lengthen or shorten it based on how often the instrument is found out of tolerance at calibration. The free calibration interval calculator on this site works out a new interval from that history.
Let the due dates keep themselves
Axiospec works out every due date from the calibration record, shows what is due soon and overdue, and sends reminder emails. Free for up to 50 instruments.
